The 2018 Oscar Jewels We Covet

The 90th Academy Awards conjured up images of the classic glamour of Hollywood in its heyday. It was filled with dramatic diamonds, authentic and inspired antique and vintage jewels and the jewel of the red carpet season, earrings in chandelier, pendant and elongated linear styles- which have shone brightly at all the awards leading up to the 2018 Oscars.

We could show you all of the best jewels at the Oscars but then we would be doing what so many other magazines and news outlets do and do quite well.  Instead, we are bringing you our picks for the jewels we personally would want to own if we had the finances and the black tie or red carpet events to attend. These are the jewels to which we aspire and that will inspire us to look for pieces, similar in silhouette, feeling and time period.  As jewelry enthusiasts. we might be rooting for our favorite films and stars up for awards, but the real reason we tune in for hours of pre-show arrivals and the ceremony itself is to see the glamour and sparkle that light up the evening.
